We're excited to announce our next employee spotlight, Cory Hart. Cory has had an impressive career with Casey's throughout his 16 years with the company. He has worked as an Advertising Assistant, Brand Manager, and now in his current position as Director of Advertising. In his role, he is responsible for working with all business units at Casey's to meet their advertising needs, and to oversee the advertising department teams.
During his initial interview with Vice President of Marketing, Mike Richardson, Cory mentioned he was very intrigued by Casey's and the opportunity that was available to him here. He said, "Mike sold me on the opportunity to be entrepreneurial within a corporate culture; we consider ourselves an in-house ad agency."
Cory noted another critical component of what has made his career with Casey's so meaningful is the on-site Child Development Center and how much they truly care about the children who walk through the doors on a daily basis. Cory said, "When my oldest daughter had to have hip surgery, they went above and beyond to care for her, as she needed special accommodations at the time. They even made my family a meal to take home; they were wonderful to us."
Cory credits much of his success to the teams he supervises, saying the strong, talented team behind him is what makes the Advertising Department so successful.
