At the beginning of the year, Casey's launched Cash for Classrooms, part of Casey's Rewards. This new initiative focuses on giving back to local schools in the communities we serve. As part of this initiative, our guests had the opportunity to select the school of their choice for a chance to receive a donation.
Now, we're incredibly excited to celebrate the schools that received a donation from Casey's!
The following schools received $2,500 to $5,000 to spend however they deem most valuable—whether it's restocking school supplies, paying off school lunch debt, or revamping facilities for their students.
Hooray for these schools reflecting the communities we call home across 16 states!
At Casey's, we recognize the important role schools play in building stronger communities by preparing children through learning and life skills, and supporting families far beyond the classroom. Education is part of the backbone of our communities, but we know that schools are frequently in need – which is why we're making these donations. With the help of our guests' passion for their local communities and involvement in the Casey's Rewards program, we are so excited to give back to these schools across the 16 states we call home.
Schools were nominated by guests participating in Casey's Rewards, giving new meaning to the phrase "rewards program." Within Casey's Rewards, members have the option of taking a few dollars off family dinner with Casey's Cash, redeeming points for cents off of fuel—or turning their points into a donation to a local school. Guests who selected their local school in the Rewards program by the February 14th deadline gave their school a chance to receive on the 16 donations.
Today we're celebrating these winning schools, but we're also proud to support all of our guests and the places they live. Local communities are at the core of everything we do, and these donations wouldn't have been possible without the heart our guests show for their hometowns. We're thrilled to continue rewarding our guests, their families and their schools!
